Smash Masters Tavern & Grill, located in the heart of Zebulon, NC, is a family-owned and operated restaurant. Now known as the home of the Half-Pound Smash Burger. We specialize in smash burgers, being the only restaurant in the area offering a generous half pound of beef in each one.  Smash Masters originated in late April of 2024 as one mobile food unit traveling the Triad and surrounding areas. It was originally a side gig for owners, Robert and Jessica Thompson, but their popularity and demand grew quickly. A couple months later, Robert decided it was time to turn the food truck into a full time career. 

Booking breweries, local festivals, and any event that would have him, demand for the delicious smash burgers continued to flourish eventually leading to the purchase of a second food truck. Robert and Jessica's time began to dwindle. Operating two trucks while raising a family and Jessica continuing to work a full time time, they both agreed it was time for Jessica to resign from her job, taking a leap of faith with her husband.

Fast forward to March 2025, Robert and Jessica opened their first brick and mortar: Smash Masters Tavern & Grill. They are extremely excited to bring a casual dining experience to Zebulon, something much needed in their community. Their hope is to be welcomed by their community and continue to grow their brand, Smash Masters.
